Challenge
Our client was a Tier 1 Service Company that provides subsea services and equipment to the global Exploration and Production industry.
There was variability in the maintenance, mobilisation and pre-deployment activities throughout the organisation within the operating regions, which impacted on service quality.
The client wanted to strengthen service quality, eliminate variability and roll out a standardised approach, considering latest industry standards and best practices across all global facilities and at the operational well site.
Approach
The Telos team visited each facility and via several workshops and engagement sessions, produced a specific ‘Action Plan’ which would, on completion demonstrate understanding and compliance to the new standardised governance.
Solution
The Telos team assisted our client in:
- Defining and producing the standardised governance.
- Producing a ‘Stakeholder and Communication’ Plan
- Establishing a robust framework to take the facilities from their ‘As Is’ status to the desired ‘Future State’.
- Ensuring change and risk management methods were core to the scope of work.
Outcome
The Telos team successfully managed the project and confirmed all global subsea facilities were compliant to the new standardised governance and deemed self-sustainable.
Additionally, reductions were seen in
- Maintenance cycle times
- Offshore Non-Productive Time (NPT)
- Service quality incidents
- Cost of poor quality
