Challenge
Our client – an International Data Centre provider, requested our support in the development of development of training material in the form of Powerpoint slides and toolbox talks on a range of subjects.
The training material involved subjects including health and safety, environment, quality and operations.
The training material was required to reference international, European and country specific legislation and regulation where in place.
Approach
After confirming training mandate and learning objectives, subject matter experts developed draft training material in compliance with applicable German Health, Safety and Environment regulations, and referencing our client internal documentation where relevant.
The content was then formatted in Adobe InDesign, with Adobe Illustrator files for the image work by a graphic design expert, in a style aligned to our client branding requirement.
Solution
The toolbox talks were delivered on two pages with the same structure to allow easy review and understanding of the subjects. The Powerpoint training stepped through each element of the subject whilst limiting the number of slides to maintain the engagement of the audience.
To enhance the training ownership of the training material and realism of the training, training modules included images of the Data Centre working environment, specifically hazards and risks associated with the subject area of the training..
Outcome
Telos delivered 6 Training Fundamentals PowerPoint slide decks and 42 Toolbox Talks.
Pleased with the high quality of the deliverables, our client recommended their use across the wider company in other international locations.
